This not only decrease the risks of infection but also is the least traumatic insertion. There have also been studies that indicate the use of the Keller Funnel also minimizes the chances of capsular contracture, which is internal scarring.

• Exparel® Non-Opioid Analgesic. Dr. Ravi injects Exparel, a local long-acting anesthetic, directly into breast tissue to decrease postoperative discomfort for up to 72 hours. The use of this has allowed our patients to reduce the need for narcotic pain medications following breast augmentation. Exparel® allows for a shorter recovery period as well, with many women able to return to work after three to four days

Breast Implant Placement

Dr. Ravi uses FDA-approved breast implants for all augmentation procedures. These can be inserted over or under the muscles in the chest, depending on factors, such as how much breast tissue is present, that are unique to the patient. Where implants are inserted can influence the length of surgery and may have a negligible impact on breast augmentation costs.

We offer both silicone and saline round breast implants to ensure optimal personalization. The types of breast implant selected will also have an impact on the total cost of your procedure.

Silicone implants that Dr. Ravi chooses to work with are the full line Allergan Natrelle Gel Implants. These include the responsive, soft touch and cohesive gel implants. Costs do vary with these.
