What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a surgical procedure in which liposuction of certain areas of fat from your own body is reinjected to the buttocks to improve the size, shape, and profile of your buttocks. It can add volume, improve symmetry, and help enhance the entire low body.

Where is the fat for BBL taken from?
We use advanced liposuction techniques such as VASER High-Definition Liposuction to safely remove fat from a pre-selected donor site with excess fat to spare. Typically, we choose the abdomen, thighs, or flanks, but we can remove fat from any suitable area of your body for your BBL procedure.

How long does recovery from BBL take?
Initial recovery from Brazilian Butt Lift is relatively fast. You should be able to resume non-strenuous work within five days, though more demanding activities and job duties may need to be avoided for up to four weeks. While there will be some limitations on activities, most people feel back to “normal” within six to eight weeks.
To improve the chances of keeping as much of the donor fat in place, Dr. Ravi does recommend decreasing the pressure to that area. He will recommend when possible to sleep on your stomach, as well as useful accessories such as the Booty Buddy to reduce pressure on your buttock while seated. It’s also important to sit on soft surfaces by using fluffy pillows instead of hard surfaces.
Is BBL permanent?
Following your procedure, your body will inevitably reabsorb some of the fat that has been used to enhance the size and shape of your derriere. This process can continue for a period of four to six months. After that, your results will be as permanent as you make them. As long as you don’t lose a lot of weight afterward or gain an excessive amount of weight, then your results will be long lasting!
Following specific dietary recommendations and getting plenty of booty-boosting exercises every week will go a long way towards making your results last for several years to come.
Is BBL safe?
BBL is a safe and effective way to improve the size, shape, and symmetry of your bottom. As with any surgical procedure, however, there are certain risks. General surgical risks such as bleeding and infection are possible with the Brazilian Butt Lift.
